Sameer Pawanekar

Director

Sameer Pawanekar is a Director at Ramtera Inc. and Ramtera Design Automation. He is the creator of LVR (Layout Verification Reporter), a next-generation EDA platform for DRC, LVS, and physical verification.

With deep expertise in C++, geometry engines, and semiconductor workflows, he focuses on scalable, high-performance verification.

His work spans mature to advanced technology nodes, emphasizing accuracy, speed, and usability. Sameer is driven by building credible, independent EDA alternatives for the global chip design ecosystem.

Hitesh Kothari

Director

Hitesh is an experienced leader in Semiconductor System Product Development and Application Engineering with over 20 years of industry experience. He has handled versatile roles involving product development, customer support, and sales.

Throughout his career, he has successfully led several new product initiatives across the organizations he has worked with. Hitesh’s rich experience and strong professional network are expected to provide significant impetus to RAMTERA’s adoption and growth in the EDA space.

Education: M.Tech ( micro-elctronics) IIT-Bombay.

Sameer Pawanekar

Kalpesh Kapoor

Advisor

Currently a Visiting Faculty member in the Department of Data Science at IISER Pune and a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Guwahati. Over the years, Kalpesh has held a variety of teaching, research, and leadership roles at IIT Guwahati, including heading the Computer and Communication Centre and the Department of Mathematics, as well as serving as Dean of the Outreach Education Programme.

His current research interests focus on blockchain science and technology, with particular emphasis on layer-2 solutions for scalability. He is interested in applying algorithmic thinking to emerging technologies and exploring how they can be used to address complex, real-world challenges.
