Ramtera Inc., the developer of the LVR (Layout Verification Reporter) physical-verification platform, has officially joined Si2 and the OpenAccess Coalition (OAC).

Si2 is a global semiconductor standards organization that promotes interoperability and collaboration across the electronic design automation (EDA) ecosystem. The OpenAccess Coalition, operating under Si2, maintains the OpenAccess (OA) database standard, which is widely used for representing hierarchical IC design data across digital, analog, and mixed-signal flows.

By joining Si2 and OAC, Ramtera reinforces its commitment to industry standards and tool interoperability. OpenAccess support enables LVR to robustly handle hierarchical design databases, including rotation, reflection, and translation, and to align more closely with foundry-qualified design flows and mainstream EDA environments.

This milestone supports Ramtera’s long-term roadmap for LVR, including improved compatibility with standard-cell libraries, analog and mixed-signal IP, and IO libraries, while strengthening confidence for customers and partners evaluating LVR for DRC, LVS, and related physical-verification workflows.

Ramtera views participation in Si2 and the OpenAccess Coalition as an important step toward building a standards-compliant, scalable, and industry-aligned physical-verification platform.
